"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

7 c. Flour
2 cakes or 2 packages dry yeast

Directions:
Combine sugar, salt, shortening and 1½ c. boiling water. Stir in beaten eggs. Add about 2 c. of the flour. Dissolve yeast in
½ c. warm water. Add to the sugar and salt mixture and gradually stir in rest of flour.

*This dough can be used the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd day.

*To use dough the same day, let it rise in warm place until double in size. Then shape into rolls and rise again.

*For baking the second or third day, simply take dough from refrigerator, form into rolls, place in greased pan and let rise in warm place until double in size (about 2 hours). Bake in hot oven (400º or 425º) for 15 minutes. Remove and brush with melted butter.

NOTE-I have found that by using a little less flour, dough will be lighter. Maybe as much as a cup less if you can handle the dough.
