1 cup finely cut beef suet
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup raisins
3 cups sifted flour
1 cup sweet whole milk
1 beaten egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together and pour in can (use a container similar to a tin coffee can). I place the can in my pressure cooker with water.

Steam for two hours.

Serve while warm, topped with hard sauce (the next recipe in my cookbook).
