50 tomatoes
15 onions
5 cups sugar
2 T cloves
1/2 cup salt
2 green peppers
2 red peppers
1 1/2 tsp allspice
3 T dry mustard
2 T vinegar
5-6 cups vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all but 5 to 6 cups vinegar. Cook 1/2 hour and then add vinegar. Cook on simmer for about 4 hours. Bottle,. Process 35 minutes.

I use this recipe to make many things. Anytime a recipe calls for chili sauce. I also use it to mar my Sloppy Joes. I take 1 pound hamburger, 1 pint chili sauce, 1 cup catsup, 3 T mustard, 1/2 cup brown sugar and dash salt. I then mimmer this for 1 hour. Serve on buns.
