Ingredients:  
1 c. warm water
2 pkg. dry yeast
5 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 T. sugar
1c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Cut in shortening in dry ingredients.
Mix all ingredients. This makes a stiff dough.
Preheat oven to 425º.
Roll amount of biscuit dough needed on lightly floured board.

Bake until biscuits are golden brown.
