2 CUPS FLOUR
1 ½ CUPS SUGAR
½ TSP SALT
½ TSP BAKING SODA
1 TSP BAKING POWDER
1 CAN FRUIT COCKTAIL
2 EGGS (BEATEN)
½ CUP BROWN SUGAR
1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS (CAN USE WALNUTS)
TOPPING:
½ CUP OLEO OR BUTTER
1 CUP SUGAR
½ CUP EVAPORATED MILK

Directions:
Directions:
SIFT DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER, ADD FRUIT COCKTAIL AND EGGS, MIX BY HAND…. POUR INTO A 9X13 BAKING DISH. MIX BROWN SUGAR AND PECANS AND SPRINKLE OVER BATTER. BAKE AT 350 FOR 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE.
MAKE TOPPING BY MIXING ALL INGREDIENTS AND BOILING FOR TWO MINUTES. (I START THIS BEFORE THE CAKE IS DONE)POUR OVER CAKE, TURN OFF OVEN AND LET SET IN OVEN FOR FIVE MINUTES.

THIS IS AN ANTIQUE RECIPE. I TOOK IT FOR A TRAIL RIDE POT LUCK AND NOW IT'S REQUESTED THAT I BRING IT EVERY TIME FROM NOW ON.
