One pound chicken livers, drained
1 medium onion
¼ lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
¼ lb. margarine
⅛ tsp. cinnamon
1½ tsp. salt
pepper
¼ cup cognac

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté liver, onion, and mushrooms in half of the margarine until liver is not pink.
Add remaining ingredients.
Blend.
Pack in ceramic. Cover tightly. Serve with crackers.

*This was in my mom's (Aunt Janice's) recipe box; it says it's from her mom, Grandma Arlene. I remember having this at many Hunter Family parties. As a kid, I thought it was disgusting. As an adult, I've grown to appreciate it, especially knowing it was one of Grandma Arlene's favorites.
*On the back of the recipe, my mom wrote "One recipe is enough." Hahaha. I would definitely follow that advice!
