16 c. Tomatoes peeled & quartered (Roma tomatoes work best-don’t even peel them)
2 Green Bell Peppers & 2 Red
2 Anaheim Peppers
2 – 3 Onions
Jalapeno Pepper (optional)
4 tsp Salt
½ cup Sugar
½ cup vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Put tomatoes, peppers and onions in blender or food processor. Pulse to chop up. Leave it chunky. Add salt, sugar and vinegar. Cook about 2 hours (simmer) to desired thickness. Put in jars. Hot water bath 15 min. quarts, 15 min. pints. Makes 6 pints. (You can get 3 batches out of ½ bushel)

*This is a very mild picante sauce but the heat can be adjusted by adding more Jalapeno and seeds
