Grandma's Poached Trout Recipe

1 lb broccoli
5-6 medium trout filet's
1 lemon
1 cup dry white wine
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
cup whipping cream
tsp salt
⅔ shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook Broccoli.
Sprinkle fish with lemon. simmer fish in wine until almost tender. (when it turns color-stop) Drain and reserve liquid.
Saute mushrooms, add flour. mix until blended.
Stir in cream and poaching liquid. Cook until boils. Stir in salt and cheese, add broccoli.
Place fish in oven proof pan and cover with the sauce. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
Serve directly from pan.
