Cake:
2 squares baker's chocolate
¼ cup butter
½ cup boiling water
¾ tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup sour cream
1 egg
½ tsp vanilla

Chocolate fudge frosting
2 squares unsweetened bakers chocolate
4 TBS butter
2 cups powdered sugar
¼ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
1. melt chocolate and butter
2. add boiling water and baking soda
3. add sugar and beat well
4. add rest of ingredients and beat with mixer
5. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 9 pan at 350º for 25 minutes or until cake leaves side of pan.

Chocolate fudge frosting:
Combine chocolate squares and butter in a small pan over hot water until melted. Remove from heat. Combine
sugar, milk and vanilla. Stir until smooth; add chocolate. Set bowl in pan of ice water. Beat with a wooden spoon until frosting is thick enough to spread and hold it’s shape.
