1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

CREAM 1/2 cup butter and 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
BLEND IN 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla
ADD 1 2/3/ cups all purpose flour and 1 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt
STIR thoroughly.

DROP by rounded teaspoons on greased cookie sheets and cook for 10-12 min at 350º.
COOL AND PUT BROKEN PECANS ON TOP OF EACH COOKIE
THEN DRIZZLE FROSTING ON EACH COOKIE

PRALINE FROSTING

COMBINE in sauce pan: 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup cream. BOIL 2 MIN.
REMOVE FROM HEAT then stir in 1 cup powdered sugar. BEAT til smooth.
ADD more cream if too thick. º
