1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
3 strips orange zest
2 cups cubed watermelon
3/4 cup white tequila
1/4 cup lime juice
salt or sugar to rim glasses
1 lime, cut into wedges
2 cups crushed ice or as needed

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water, sugar and orange zest to boil. Cool simple syrup.
Pulse watermelon in blender until pureed.
Stir watermelon, simple syrup, tequila and lime juice into pitcher.
Place salt or sugar into a saucer.
Rub edge of glasses with lime wedge to moisten and dip in saucer to rim glasses.
Fill glasses with crushed ice and pour margarita mixture over.
Garnish with lime wedges to serve.

So amazing and refreshing on hot summer days! To make a virgin version, omit the tequila and use a lemon lime soda instead.
