2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. cream of tarter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites and cream of tarter until frothy, add vanilla and salt. Beat until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beat until stiff peaks form. Spoon in mounds onto brown paper bag. Make deep well in each. Bake at 250º for 1 hour and crisp and light brown.
