Notes: About 52 years ago, there was a newspaper in Ohio called the Cleveland Press. They used to have a desk where you could call for a recipe. As I was very young and had no cookbooks (and certainly no internet!), i used to call their number and get some really great recipes. This was one of them. Since that time I have acquired about 100 cookbooks. I often go through them and the internet and have never found a recipe like this one. It is a family favorite and seriously "old school!"
