8 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 T salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/4 cups vegetable oil
4 T baking powder
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 1/2 cups instant non-fat dry milk

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together all dry ingredients until well blended. With a pastry blender or heavy duty mixer. cut in shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal. Store in airtight container in a cool dry place. Use within 4 months. Use to make Sunshine Breakfast Cake, Morning muffins, Never-fail Biscuits, Self Crust Cheese Tart, Impossible Dessert, Apple Walnut Cobbler or Hot-fudge Pudding Cake.
