2 c. Old Fashioned oats
1 T. cinnamon
¼ c. coconut
¼ c. sliced almonds
½ tsp. coarse salt (or to taste)
4 T. coconut oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ c. maples syrup
optional: flax, pumpkin, pecans, other seeds or nuts; raisins, dried cranberries

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300º

In medium bowl, combine all dry ingredients.

Melt coconut oil over low heat on stove top until melted.
In small bowl, whisk together melted oil, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
Pour liquid mixture over dry ingredients and mix well.
Spread onto baking sheet in thin layer.
Bake for 30 minutes, turning the mixture every 10 minutes. Cook until brown.
Let cool, then enjoy!
