1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup regular or old fashioned oatmeal
1 cup peanut butter
powdered sugar
1 package milk chocolate chips, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the butter, peanut butter and vanilla together until well blended. Add enough powdered sugar to make a stiff dough. Add oatmeal. Butter the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch cake pan or glass dish, Spread the peanut butter mixture in the pan. Press down with a spoon. Pour melted chocolate over the top and spread it out to cover the peanut mixture. Set in refrigerator to harden. You may need to let it stand at room temperature a few minutes before cutting. This recipe was invented by Gina Baird, Tremonton, UT.
