6 oz whole black olives, drained
1/4 c olive oil
2 T fresh oregano or basil, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 T balsamic vinegar
1/2 t red pepper flakes
1/4 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a plastic zipping bag. Refrigerate a least 2 hours or up to one month. Makes about one cup.

Mom would make these and keep them in the refrigerator. I would come over and eat them all. She, of course, would just smile.
