Mix first five ingredients together by hand. Work butter into mixture until it forms a loose dough. Divide into 3 equal parts. Roll each part into a log approximately 6 inches long. Wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Slice logs into 1/4-inch thick pieces and place one inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 325º oven for 15-18 minutes.
