Duncan Hines Yellow or French Vanilla Cake Mix
1 cup butter
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups dark brown sugar (packed)
1 box confectioner's sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Make cake according to package directions. Bake in either 3 layer pans or 2. If using 2 layers, split the layers for make 4 before icing cake.

For Icing:
Melt butter and sugar over low heat. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk and bring to a boil. Add confectioner's sugar. Beat until cool. Spread on cooled cake layers.

Note: I usually double this icing recipe.
