Pioneer Pudding Recipe

4 Tbs. Butter 4 tsp. Nutmeg
2 C. Milk 2 tsp. Salt
2 C. Sugar 2 C. Raisins or Chopped Apples
2 tsp. Baking Soda 4 tsp. Vanilla
4 C. Flour 1 C. Walnuts

Mix together and pour into a 14 Dutch oven.
You can half the recipe and make a 9x 13 pan and bake in oven.

Caramel Sauce:
4 C. Brown Sugar
3 C. Boiling Water
4 Tbs. Butter

Mix and bring to a boil. Pour over cake batter. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
14 Dutch oven serves 24-30. 9x13 pan serves 12-15.
