3/4 butter
3/4 cup Light corn syrup
1/2 cup Whiskey

Directions:
In a saucepan over medium heat add butter and corn syrup. Cook and stir until butter is melted and blended well. Remove from heat and add whiskey. Pour over bread pudding, corn bread, ice cream etc.....Place in glass sealed jar and refrigerate.

I first made this sauce to go over bread pudding but we have found so many other things that it goes great with. David really liked it over Johnny Cake (corn bread).
