31/2 lbs. Bing Cherries (pitted)
63/4 c. sugar
Brandy

Directions:
Directions:
Put cherries in kettle and cover with sugar. Let stand 2 hours.
Slowly cook over low heat uncovered for about 25 minutes or until cherries are tender.
Remove cherries from syrup, set aside. Cook syrup another 20 minutes or until thickened.
Measure syrup and add 5 T. Brandy for each cup of syrup. Return fruit to syrup and Brandy mixute and reheat on low.
Ladle into 1/2 pint jars and seal.

This is great over roast or BBQ Chicken or ladled over Ice Cream.
