¼ cup butter
1½ cup of cut up stew meat, hamburger, pork, chicken
1 cup diced onion
1 teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon pepper
1 cup diced celery
1 can drained bean sprouts
1 can water chestnuts drained
1 large can chow mein noodles
Thickening:
⅓ cup cold water
2 Tablespoon flour
2 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sear meat in butter; add onion and fry for five minutes. Add celery, seasonings, and water. Cover and cook for five minutes. Add drained bean sprouts and chestnuts.
Thickening: mix water, flour, sugar, and soy sauce together and stir into the above mixture. Serve on warmed chow mein noodles. Flavor dish with Soy Sauce.
