Urad daal - 250 gm
Rajma (Kidney bean) - 1/4 cup (2 ounce)
Tomato (diced) - 2 medium sized
Garlic (diced) - 6 cloves
Dry red chilles - 6 numbers
Water - 7 cups
Tomato puree - 1/2 cup (4 ounce)
Salt - to taste
Ghee or butter - 2 tsp
Canola oil - 2 tsp
Onion (diced/finely chopped) - 1 medium sized
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Red chille power - 1 tsp

Pressure cooker
Frying pan

Directions:
Directions:
Dice tomatoes and garlic.
Mix all the above ingredients in a Pressure cooker.
Pressure cook over low heat for 30 minutes.

Heat 2 tspn of ghee/butter with 2 tspn oil in a frying pan.
Add 1 finely chopped onion & stir fry till it turns soft .
Add 1 tspn of ginger paste & 1 tsp of red chillie powder and continue stir-frying for a few seconds.

Add the previously pressure-cooked daal with ingredients into the frying pan and continue cooking till it boils once.
