1 1/4 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
8 T. butter
1 egg
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. mini chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter until soft and creamy. Add sugars, salt, and vanilla. Beat for 2 more minutes. Add dry ingredients. Mix until flour disappears into dough. Mix in chocolate chips.

Separate dough in half and shape into logs about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

Preheat oven to 325 ºF. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Slice logs into rounds 1/2 inches thick. Arrange on baking sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake for 12 minutes.
