2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
4-8 T. ice cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour and salt in mixing bowl. Cut chilled shortening into flour mixture until mixture resembles coarse pea-sized crumbs. Sprinkle half the water over the flour mixture; mix gently with a fork. Add more water by the tablespoon until the dough holds together. Divide the dough into two. Flatten dough into disc. Bake pie according to recipe directions. Makes double-crust 9-inch pie.
