Cinnamon Brownies Recipe

1 square butter
1/2 cup oil
1 cup water
3 T cocoa
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 T vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon

Bring to boil: butter, oil, water and cocoa. Set aside. Mix together: eggs, sugar, buttermilk and vanilla. Set aside. Sift together: flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix butter mixture, egg mixture and flour mixture together. Stir well. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes in a greased and floured jelly roll pan.

1 square butter
1/4 cup milk
3/4 - 1 package powdered sugar
1 T cocoa
dash salt
1 tsp vanilla

Mix butter, sugar and cocoa. Add milk to thin. Add salt and vanilla. Beat until smooth. When brownies are cool, frost. Optional: Add nuts to batter. Sprinkle top if desired.
