3/4 c butter, room temperature
1 3/4 c sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
2 c flour
3/4 c cocoa
1 1/4 t baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 3/4 c water
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat 1 minute at medium speed.
Combine dry ingredients. Add alternately with water until incorporated.
Bake in two greased round pans at 350º for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Allow to cool.
Frost or use whipped cream between layers and on top.
