1 c. rice
Salt & pepper, to taste
2 c. boiling water
2 cans black-eyed peas seasoned with chopped ham or bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix rice, salt and water; cook covered, about 20 minutes on low heat. Cook black-eyed peas with seasoning. Serve a spoon of rice, with a serving of peas on top.
