1 cup long grain white rice
1-1/2 cups water or preferred stock
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons chopped onions
bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Using a dutch oven, melt butter and sauté onions on top of stove. Add bay leaf. Add the rice and stir to coat with the butter/onion mixture. Add the liquid and bring to a boil. Cover and bake 18 minutes at 400º.
