1 (16 oz.) bag frozen green beans, or 2 cans, or fresh green beans
3/4 c. ham or bacon, cut up
1 T. instant diced onions
1 T. bacon fat
2 tsp. salt
6 to 8 small new potatoes, washed & unpeeled (can use more)

Directions:
Directions:
Cover beans with water in large saucepan. Add other ingredients. Boil for at least 2 hours, or until water is cooked down to about 1 to 2inches. May have to add extra water as needed. It's best to let beans cook until most of liquid is gone. Don't let them cook dry and burn.
