1 c molasses
c soft butter & lard mixed
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c boiling water
2 well beaten eggs
c sugar
1 tsp ginger
2 tsp soda
2 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve soda in boiling water and set aside. Mix other ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add soda and water to the molasses batter. Add eggs bake at 375 in a well greased pan until done.
