1 Lb. lean bacon (or 1/2 Lb. thin sliced ham)
1/2 C. chopped onion 5 16-oz cans Pork and Beans
1/2 C. chopped celery 3 Tbs. Brown Sugar
1/2 C. chopped green pepper (optional) 1/4 C. molasses, unsulphered

Directions:

Cut bacon (or ham) into 1/2" lengths. Fry and drain. Combine cooked bacon with onion, celery and green pepper and sauté until onion is tender. Slightly drain and oil or clear liquid from each pork and beans can. Combine all ingredients together in a baking pan and cook at 350 until bubbly and slightly thickened.
