5 c. thinly sliced apples
5T. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. oil
4 eggs
juice of 1 orange
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine apples, brown sugar and cinnamon.

Mix sugar. oil and eggs in a large bowl.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt and add to sugar mixture.

Add orange juce and vanilla.

Layer batter and apples (2 layers of each) in a well greased tube pan.

Bake at 350º for apprx. 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Serve with whipped cream.
