Slice a head of cabbage [like for slaw]. Melt 4 Tbsp of butter in large frying pan,
add cabbage and cook covered on low heat,stirring every so often. It should not
get brown - but if it does it is OK.
In a small bowl mix:
1 can of evaporated milk (small)
1 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp Cider Vinegar
stir slowly, it will thicken
add salt and pepper
When cabbage is done turn off heat and add the milk mixture.
Serve over mashed potatoes.
You have a pound of loose breakfast sausage to make patties,fry them in frying pan while
the cabbage is cooking.
