3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 egg
t tsp vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup sour cream
2 cups flour
2/3 cup baking cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes. Combine buttermilk and sour cream in separate bowl. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in separate bowl. Add dry to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk mixture.

For cake, pour into 2 greased and waxed paper lined 9 inch round baking pans. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pans.

For cupcakes, fill liners and bake 20-25 minutes.
