1 lb. browned ground beef
1 can dark red kidney beans, not drained
1 pkg taco seasoning

1 head chopped lettuce
8 oz. pkg. cheddar cheese
¼ finely chopped onion (optional)

1 10 oz. pkg crushed Doritoes
16 oz. bottle Kraft Creamy Italian dressing- aprox. (Enough to make the salad creamy)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ground beef, beans, and taco seasoning in a large bowl. Add lettuce, cheese and onion. Stir well.
When ready to serve add Doritoes and dressing. Mix to combine.

Began making in the early 1980's. This recipe was submitted in 1979 by Kimberly Mueller to our 3rd grade cookbook. Her mother was Sharon Hanschu Mueller and grandparents were Clinton/Francis Hanschu of Ramona. Clinton's and Harry's dads were brothers.
