Romaine lettuce
Almonds
Mandarine oranges
Green Onions
Celery
Sugar
Vinegar
Salad oil
Tabasco sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 3 3/4 ounces slivered almonds with 2 Tablespoons sugar. Place in skillet over moderate heat, stirring until sugar melts and coats almonds. Set aside.

Mix together 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 1 Tablespoon sugar, 1/2 cup salad oil, 2 or 3 drops Tabasco sauce, salt & Pepper to taste.

Mix together 1 head romaine lettuce, 11 ounce can of mandarin oranges (drained), 1/2 cup green onions (chopped), 1/2 cup celery (chopped).

Add dressing just before serving. Sprinkle with coated almonds.
