1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup corn starch
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla; beat using an electric mixer on high speed until light and fluffy
2. In another bowl, combine flour, corn starch, baking soda, baking powder and salt; gradually stir into the butter mixture
until well blended
3. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill for 2 hours
4. Preheat oven to 400º
5. Line baking sheet with parch paper
6. Hand roll 1 tablespoon of the cookie dough into a ball; place cookies 2 inches apart on baking sheet
7. You can flatten it a bit and then use a fork to create some indentation. Sprinkle some coloured sugar if desired
8. Bake 7 - 8 minutes
9. Cool cookies on a wired rack
