1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350šin a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, vanilla; beat using an electric mixer on high speed until
light and fluffy
2. Gradually stir the flour into the butter mixture until well blended; mix until mixture is a smooth consistency
3. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
4. Spoon out 1 teaspoon of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet and place cookies 2 inches apart;
sprinkle some colored sugar is desired
5. Bake 10 - 12 minutes
6. Cool cookies on a wired rack
