4 cups carrots or pumpkin (Boil carrots till tender. Drain and mash.)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves or mace
1 tsp ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Add 4 eggs well beaten with 1½ cup sugar. Add slowly 4 cups milk and 1 cup cream. Use raw crusts. Bake at 425º f or 15 minutes. Decrease oven to 350º for 45 minutes.
