12 eggs
1½ cup sugar, divided
⅔ cup bourbon, or rum, or brandy to taste
1 quart milk
1 pint whipping cream
sugar to taste in whipping cream (about ¾ cup sugar)
Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs.
Place the egg yolks in a large bowl. Add ¾ cup sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add milk.
Using clean beaters, beat egg whites in another bowl until they form soft peaks. Add remaining sugar, and continue to beat until peaks are stiff. Fold beaten egg whites into yolk mixture. Gradually add the liquor of choice. "Not one of each." Gently fold into egg mixture. Refrigerate!
When ready to serve pour into punch bowl and top with sweetened whipped whipping cream and nutmeg or you can place in individual cups top with sweetened whipping cream and Sprinkle with nutmeg,
