1 lb Ground Sausage, Coarse
1 lb Ground Beef, Coarse
1 c Canned Tomatoes and Juice
1 tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
1 Head of Garlic, chopped
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
2 tsp Dried Oregano
2 tsp Ground Coriander
4 lb Potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
8-10 Green Chiles, chopped (Anaheim, Big Jim, or Chile Verde. Bright green, 4-8 inches long. Looks like an elongated bell pepper)

Directions:

Brown pork and beef separately in heavy skillet. Drain off most of fat. Set aside.
Into heavy large pot, add the rest of the ingredients, stir well, and cover with the water. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer, partially cover, for 45 minutes.
