12 small new potatoes
2 T butter
2 T flour
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground sage
¼ tsp thyme
1¼ cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Scrub new potatoes; cut a ½-inch ring around each potato.

Cook potatoes in boiling water for 15 minutes or till fork-tender; drain and leave them in the colander.

Melt butter in same pan.

Stir in flour, salt sage and thyme and milk. Cook, sitrring constantly till bubbly. Cook and stir till sauce thickens and comes to a boil; boil for 1 minute.

Gently mix the potatoes into the sauce; heat just till potatoes are hot.
