1 c. butter or margarine
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar; add water and vanilla; mix well. Add flour and pecans; chill 3 or 4 hours. Shape into balls or fingers. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet in a slow oven (325 degrees) about 20 minutes. Cool slightly; roll in powdered sugar.
