Beets 4 Qts
3 C Vinegar
2 C Water
2 ½ C Sugar
2 t Allspice
3 in. stick Cinnamon
½ Whole Clove
1 t Salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cook beets.
In separate pan combine other ingredients except vinegar
boil, then simmer 15 min.
Add beets and simmer 5 min. Longer.
Pack beets into hot sterilized jars.
Bring syrup to boil pour over beets
add vinegar to supplement Water bath
10 min. if using more than 1 recipe.
