Directions:
Directions:
Soak over night in:
I cup salt
4 quarts water
Drain.
Boil in covered pan in I pint vinegar, 2 quarts water and 2 tsp. turmeric for 20 minutes
Drain thoroughly
Rinse in cold water.
Pack in bottles.
Add 10 cups sugar, 5 cups vinegar, 4 cups water and 2 handfuls of pickling spice in bag.
Boil for 30 minutes.
Pour over pickles and seal.
