Directions: |
Directions:There are two types of Styrofoam. One is made of round beads pressed together and this one needs only to be sanded smooth. The other is crystalline and needs to be covered with tissue the best way to apply the tissue is with tie wallpaper paste but the cellulose or "tacky" paste can also be used. In preparing either cype ball, try to get the surface as smooth as possible After the balls arc prepared as above cut ¾ off ends of hairpin. Cut fishing line twice the size of ball and tie ends together loop around hairpin Dip hairpin in glue and press into ball ¼” below surface Fill in with spackle. Prepare pictures by tearing downward around edges (sn white edge won't show) If picture is from a card or heavier type paper, as much extra paper as possible should be pulled from the back Cut into card every inch, being careful not cut into the vital parts of picture. With pencil, mark on ball where you want picture(s) to be and then apply paste to back of picture and. starting in the center of the picture, smooth onto ball working out ary wrinkles and overlapping edges.
