¾ C butter
1 C packed brown sugar
1 egg
½ t almond extract
1 t vanilla extract
2 ¼ C unsifted flour
¾ t baking powder
¼ t cinnamon
¼ t nutmeg
⅛ t salt
1 ¾ C coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, egg and flavorings.
Mix in flour, baking powder, spices and salt.
Add coconut.
Divide dough in half.
Pat each half into 9"XI0" rectangle
Chill I hour.
Cut into 5 long strips and cut each strip into 10 parts
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Press ridges into cookies.
Bake at 375° for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
