Ingredients:  
1/2 C shortening
1 1/2 C sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 C buttermilk
2 oz red food coloring
2 tbsp cocoa
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve baking in vinegar. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Make paste with food coloring and cocoa. Add to creamed mixture. Add salt, milk, flour, and vanilla to mixture
Grease and flour pan. Bake at 350F for 30 min.
